Title: Works just as promised.
Review: Bought on of these as my new car has a charging plate but my Samsung A5 does not. The plug attached easily and the charging plate was small enough to ensure the camera was unobstructed. I always have a thin case on the back of the phone, so didnâ€™t bother using the small glue strip to attach the plate. I just positioned it so that the connecting cable was tight against the body of the phone before popping the case over it.The plate is very slim so it hardly makes any noticeable difference to the case thickness, and the charging plug fitted flush with the case edge.The first time I used it it the car it was on charge for around 30mins. They connected instantly and at the end of the drive found it had jumped from 20% to 63%. The case was slightly warmer than usual but nothing of concern as I had already read that a little warming was inevitable and entirely safe.I have seen a few comments about the plug breaking, but could not see how this could happen, as it sits firmly in the socket and is flush with my case. I can only think that people are either using it without a case and catching it on something, or repeatedly unplugging it to use a cable at home.The obvious answer to me was to also buy an Â£8 charging plate for my office desk. Now my phone is always on charge whether at home of in the car, and therefore invariably at 100% battery charge when I come to use it.A fantastic feature to add to my phone, I just wish I had known about it years ago!

Title: Works well, easy to install. Don’t expect super-fast charging rates
Review: Earlier on I tried at Chinese import which was extremely flaky but this gives more than adequate performance. The device fitted easily into my Motorola Power and sits comfortably behind a case. The only thing to be wary of is your expectation of speed of charging. My phone is capable of fast charging with the right power supply but with this device you are limited to a regular slow speed. That’s fine if you have an adjacent power pad on your desk or next to your bed. It may not be such a good idea if you make very frequent calls or like playing lots of games

Review: I found it very difficult to be sure about what would work with what and what is actually needed, so I thought I would add a bit more detail. This is being used with a Motorola Edge 40 Neo and I bought a TOZO W6 Wireless Magnetic Charger to go with it. The original receiver I bought didn’t work, so I wondered whether any would work with my phone, but this one works really well even inside the hard case supplied with the phone. I am actually pleasantly surprised by the speed of charging. It is obviously nowhere near as fast as the 68 Watt wired charger supplied, but it is fast enough for me.

Review: This is a very cheap piece of kit. I have a Galaxy A70 and I am using this to charge via a Samsung Duo. I don’t connect and disconnect it as other buyers have, so I haven’t experienced the connector breaking, however, I can tell by looking at the item, that it probably would break if I didn’t detach it from the back of the phone first.Using Ampere app I am getting 900-920mA which is pretty respectable. From 40% my phone tells me I should reach 100% in 1.5 hours, which would be great. However, here is the problem. This item won’t let my phone get above 80% charge, and under normal circumstances, that would be fine and for what I use my phone for, I would normally get around 1.5 to 2 days before it went down below 10%.For some reason, my phone loses its power on the same day. It will go from 80% in the morning, and then before bed it is 10%, and that is with almost no usage. I unplugged this yesterday and charged my phone using the normal USB port and got it to 80%. The phone lasted 2 days. I put this back in, back to 1 day again.Ampere tells me my battery is in excellent condition and given that a normal USB charge lasted 2 days, I know its not the battery. I don’t know why or how, but it feels like this item is actually draining the battery when it is connected but not on charge.Add to that the heat that this thing generates is way more than when using USB. I excpected a little bit of extra heat, but when it reaches 80% and can’t go any higher, my phone gives me the notification you would normally get when you first connect it for charging. It is as if it is struggling to continue so it keeps reconnecting. This is when it gets hotter.So, short of replacing my phone with a new one that has NFC, I’m probably going to go back to normal charging.

Title: Very convenient
Review: My Oneplus 8T doesn’t have wireless charging, so I use this receiver under my Spigen case, and it works fine. I have a bedside charging pad on a timer set for two hours (02:00 to 04:00) so I have no idea how quickly it charges, but it’s certainly enough to keep the battery topped up.Although the Oneplus 8T comes with a wired 65W charger, I’ve read that batteries don’t survive well on heavy charging loads, and a trickle charge is much better for longer battery life. The fact that the USB port is blocked doesn’t bother me; I can transfer data when required via a wireless FTP connection.Overall I’m satisfied with this charging receiver.

Title: Good if it works
Review: Work fantastic for a month then kept over heating and then gave up charging. Up to then it was good, charged up within a few hours on a slow charge.Warranty is a pitiful 1 month! Was told its my fault and was simply told sorry and to buy another one! Very poor. Don’t buy from the seller as a result of the poor service but if you find the product else where I’ll expect your get treated better.

Review: I’m writing this review because I’ve seen some few complains on the quality of the product and people complaining that it doesn’t charge. The product is good and it works very well so far. I’m an IT guy, I work on backbone servers in a daily basis, I’m a data centers rat so I’m extremely used to electronics. Here is my insight and how to get the best of it.This QI wireless charger terminal is naked circuitry and needs to be handled with extra care. If you fat-finger or have a little tremor in your hands be extra cautious because these devices are delicate while handling. Once installed you’re good to go. I get my phone charged in a timely manner.Avoid bending the cable or pulling it. Do not bend or pull the USB terminal. Do not bend the flat inductor as you may damage it. Use with care while installing. I’ve seen people’s complains that “it doesn’t work”…. oh well. Chances are they broke it without noticing. If you are careful like when you are installing your new $1,000 video card, you should be fine.Remove your phone protection/cover and without bending the cable insert the USB in place. Then on a one time only, carefully bend the cable to set the QI terminal in place flat to the surface of the phone back. Put the cover back in as shown on the second picture making sure the cable and terminal don’t get tangled in the process. Is all about taking care of the conductors and terminal.Align the phone in a way that the terminal in the back is right up in the middle of the QI charger making sure the QI terminal and the charger align. The device throws a little bit over 5.5W (revised number, I went wrong in my math) when I test it. You can see third picture on my old Canadian BlackBerry. Yeah, in Canada we make really cool stuff.This charger is very useful to avoid pulling on/off a cable on the phone USB plug which WILL wear out shortening the life of your phone. This QI terminal will greatly extend the life of your phone since many phones give up when the USB becomes useless due to wear and tear and you can’t charge it anymore. The cons to it is, you need to forget you have a USB connector there. Once the charger terminal is in place, do not take it off.This terminal is basically a flat inductor that transform a projected electric field from the charger into this terminal building ~5.5W on 5V (math revised). Charging will depend on the size vA of your battery and the circuitry feeding it. On my BlackBerry takes 3 hours to a full charge from zero. On my new Galaxy Note 20 takes a bit longer (the Note 20 comes with its own wireless charging, I just plugged the terminal flat and set the phone apart from the charger for experimental purposes).Hopes this clarifies how to use this. This is not a scam like some people says, is not a bad product,. Is way too easy to pin the blame on someone else instead of doing it right in the first place.

Review: The idea was nice to try out, but it just is not a good experience so far. Easy to apply, but it often is such a circus getting it to lay down on the charge pad correctly with how small it is, the charge speeds are way too slow, and it completely removes the charge port making it quite annoying if you ever would take a trip.All by all, might be for some people, but I just think that Samsung should stop being like they are and just start adding this into their phones as a base on their full range, not just the S-range.
